The Last Day of School

Look at how much they've grown! These pictures are from the first and last day of school. It amazes me at what nine months can do to kids. We are very excited for summer and all the excitement it brings.

Fishing at the lake

This past Saturday we went fishing with Devin and Jade at Steineker. We took the little fishing boat and planned on catching lots of fish. But all the kids just wanted to swim in the lake. We didn't bring any swim suits but I thought all those boys looked mighty cute in their rolled-up jeans.

Then on Sunday we took some mums up to Grandma McCarty's grave. It was a super good weekend!

We've Been Busy!

I have been slacking on this blog lately, spring time is busy! So I thought I'd show you what we have been up to.

We went fishing on Diamond Mountain where Madison out fished us all. She caught two!

Brayden plays baseball on the Phillies team twice a week. It has been fun to get out of the house during the evenings to watch him. Now, if that wind would just go away and stay away, I'd enjoy it more.

The Pinewood Derby was a couple of weeks ago. Tyler (and a little bit of Brayden) worked on this car all week. It didn't win....and Brayden had to eat some humble pie because he fully expected to win. But it was good for him to lose and learn to be happy for someone else.
