More Camping...

We absolutely love the mountains above our town. We also absolutely love camping and you've probably noticed that we do a lot of it. This past weekend we went with Tyler's parents and his sister Sharalyn and her husband and kids.

We took the river boat and all of us got a turn going down the Green.....rain and all. It's been about three years since I had been down and I so enjoyed the relaxation of it. Our kids are all big enough to go down now and they loved, loved it. We also rode Grandpa's horses ( the kid's favorite part) and rode the four-wheeler (my favorite part) and went to a friend's cabin on Diamond Mountian for dinner on Saturday. We also played a ton of Go Fish and Old Maid card games.

My crazy, crazy sister Amanda who also happens to be the favorite aunt.

My family was lucky enough to have everyone but my brother Joshua (who lives in Germany) in town for the holiday weekend. We went to Steineker to play in the sand and water. Then on Thursday we picked up my sister Amanda from the Vernal airport and went camping for several days. Unfortunately it rained and rained and then hailed. But we still managed to have a great time. Riley read us ghost stories and gave us a guided tour of the Carter Military trail and Government park....you know, I've always wondered about the stories from those names.

On Saturday we drove down the mountain to watch the fireworks and play with some sparklers. Then we drove back up the mountain for one more day of fun. We had a great time and I'm sad that it's already over. Does anyone else think the summer is going really, really fast?
