This is what we've been up to...

After the kids are home from school, our schedule is very, very busy. I know a lot of you mom's already know what I am talking about. But I am amazed at how busy am with all this learning going on!

They're Coming.....

One of my biggest loves on earth are my tulips in the front of my house. They usually start pushing up dirt in late January. Well, this year I kept waiting and watching but I saw no sprouts. I was so afraid that I had killed them somehow. I was really trying to come to terms with this loss in my life. Well, today I decided to take another look and this is what I found. I am so happy! Come the end of April, I will have the biggest, pinkest tulips....Spring is on the way!

Our Get-A-Way

Tyler and I stayed at the Johnson Mill bed and breakfast in Midway that was absolutely breathtaking. The place is used for weddings during the summer, so the grounds are amazing. And yes, they serve a delicious breakfast the next day. The town itself is so quaint and fairytale-ish. It made a great way to celebrate 12 years of marriage. This is our tradition every year...to leave the kids with Grandma and do something romantic. If you don't already do this for your anniversary, I highly recommend it!
